FSLA’s submission to Andrew Green QC on Maxwellisation

In April 2016, Parliament’s Treasury Committee announced that it had commissioned Andrew Green QC to conduct a review into Maxwellisation. The review was commissioned in part because of concerns Maxwellisation had played a role in the seven years taken to produce a report into the collapse of HBOS. On announcing the review, Andrew Tyrie MP, Chairman of the Treasury Committee, said ā€˜the public will want reassurance that Maxwellisation is fair and proportionate, and does not lead to unacceptable delays.’ FSLA’s submission to the review is below:
