MiFID II v PRIIPs – A FSLA and Latham & Watkins Seminar, 10 October 2017

The Financial Services Lawyers Association (FSLA) and Latham & Watkins would like to invite you to attend an evening seminar on Tuesday 10th October, 6.30pm, to be followed by a drinks and canapés reception.

Nicola Higgs and Anne Mainwaring from Latham & Watkins and Lucia Pivetta from Morgan Stanley who also chairs the British Banker’s Association’s (BBA) working group will discuss key areas of cross-over between the Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products Regulation (PRIIPs) which will apply from 1 January 2018 and the recast Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) which will apply from 3 January 2018. Topics will include product scope, costs and charges disclosure, overlaps with the product governance regime as well as instances where reliance on PRIIPs KIDs is permitted under MiFID II.

The seminar will be held at Latham & Watkins’ offices: 99 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3XF. Registration will be from 6pm with the talk starting at 6.30pm.
