FSLA & Social Mobility Foundation Charity Dinner – Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, Thursday 30th January 2014

FSLA is pleased to announce that it will host a charity dinner in aid of the Social Mobility Foundation (SMF) to take place on the evening of 30th January 2014 at One Moorgate Place, London.

Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, will give the keynote speech this year.

The cost of a table seating 10 is £2500. All proceeds will go to the SMF.

About The SMF

The SMF exists to support high-achieving young people from low-income backgrounds into the top universities and professions. We do this by providing a holistic programme of support encompassing internships, mentoring, university application support and skills development.

The inaugural charity dinner

Nick Clegg, MP, Deputy Prime Minister, gave the keynote speech at the inaugral FSLA/SMF charity dinner, which was attended by a select number of FSLA corporate members including Berwin Leighton Peisner, Clifford Chance, Freshfields, Norton Rose and Slaughter and May, and 3 Verulam Buildings, Blackstone Chambers and Outer Temple Chambers. It was also attended by senior lawyers from the Bank of England, the FSA and a number of banks. The event raised over £17,000 for the SMF.
